Hi, I’m Chelsya, the founder of Rooted Cycling.

I created Rooted out of a deep love for indoor cycling, not just for the workout itself, but for the way it brings people together through rhythm, energy, and encouragement. But I also felt something was missing: a space where movement could meet meaning, and where faith and fitness could be rooted together in community.

Rooted is the result of that vision. It’s a place where you can show up exactly as you are, push yourself in new ways, and walk out stronger in body, mind, and spirit. My hope is that every ride helps you leave behind the stress of the day and step into joy, strength, and purpose.

Thank you for being here at the very beginning. Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, you belong in this community.

  • Movement has always been a part of Imara’s story. From early home workout videos to high-energy group classes, she’s always believed that fitness has the power to transform not just the body, but the mind and spirit too.

    Inspired by the real-life transformations she witnessed through shows like The Biggest Loser, Imara felt called to help others experience that same sense of renewal and strength through movement.

    Now an ACE-certified personal trainer, she brings her passion for dance and rhythm to every class she leads — from yoga and hip-hop cardio to cycling and beyond. Her mission is to meet people where they are in their fitness journey and help them grow stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally.

    Known for her contagious energy, motivational coaching style, and fire playlists, Imara creates a space that feels fun, empowering, and inclusive.

  • Lindsey found her passion for cycling early as she started riding at just 16 and began teaching by 19 at Cycle Bar. Now, at 21, she brings an energy that’s contagious and a love for movement that keeps riders coming back for more.

    Her classes are all about balance: challenging climbs, empowering choreography, and sprints that push you to your edge…all set to a fire playlist that keeps your legs moving and your heart full.

    Whether you’re chasing a new challenge or just craving movement that feels good, Lindsey will guide you through every climb, sprint, and beat with encouragement and energy that lasts beyond the ride.

  • Faith, family, and fitness are at the heart of everything she does. A former collegiate volleyball player with a degree in Exercise Science from UTC, Faith has spent years sharing her passion for movement through coaching: from strength training and dance fitness to cycling.

    Her rides are full of rhythm, energy, and joy (because a good beat changes everything). Off the bike, you’ll find her outdoors hiking, jeeping, or spending time with her big, beautiful family — two adult children, a stepdaughter, and seven grandbabies with one more on the way.

    By day, she’s an insurance territory manager. By night, she’s in her happy place: coaching, encouraging, and helping others move with purpose.

  • Gracie’s fitness journey started with a simple goal: to get stronger, inside and out. What began as a personal transformation turned into a passion for movement, community, and helping others discover their own power through various instructor roles over the last four years. 


    Now an avid runner, Gracie has completed multiple half and full marathons, and is always chasing her next personal best. She brings that same drive and encouragement to every ride, pairing rhythm and resistance with inspiration to remind riders that progress always starts with showing up.

    Off the bike, Gracie is a full-time teacher and cross-country coach, which means motivation is kind of her thing. Whether you’re clipping in for the first time or chasing your own PR, she’ll meet you where you are and help you find your power in the pedals.

    Every ride with Gracie is a mix of hard work, heart, and a playlist that keeps you pushing to the beat.

  • As Rooted’s General Manager of Studio & Community, Andrew brings a deep passion for people, health, and meaningful connection to everything he does. With a background in operations and a natural gift for leadership, he prioritizes that every detail (from the studio atmosphere to the individual experience of our riders to our community partnerships) reflects Rooted’s mission to make movement feel like belonging.

    Driven by the belief that fitness is about more than just physical health, he is focused on cultivating an environment where both our team and our riders feel supported, valued, and inspired. 

    Whether it’s strengthening partnerships or greeting you at the door with a smile, Andrew is here to help every person who walks into Rooted feel like they’re part of something bigger.
